The use of a plastic bowl to feed your cat is the most common cause of feline acne. Plastic is known to be a hotbed for bacteria. Replace it with either a stainless or glass bowl and it must be kept clean at all times. Moreover, your cat's face should be wiped off after each meal. Clean your cat's chin at least once a day with salted lukewarm water.
