Fight against constipation by avoiding constipating foods possible. Living with constipation is clearly not fun, but at least that you have a medical reason behind this problem that prevents them from defecating freely (by tightening the abdomen), constipation is most likely caused by the foods you eat.

So the food you eat are important in determining the ease of bowel movements. Other factors that may cause constipation are lack of exercise or inadequate consumption of water.

If you want to fight against constipation, avoid the following 5 foods.

Food constipating 1) Dairy Products
Dairy foods like milk and cheese can cause constipation because the large quantities of calcium they contain. But muscles can only contract if they can deport calcium from cells. Thus, if the calcium level is high, the functioning of the muscles of the colon is inhibited.

Dairy products also lack fiber and are a source of proteins called caseins that slow mobility of the intestine. Milk contains too much mucus and can solidify in the intestines, making digestion more difficult.

In children, constipation can sometimes be a sign of lactose intolerance. Surprisingly, this might be the only sign which means that it is important to go to examine children. Do not eat too many dairy products if you are often constipated.

Constipating foods 2) Processed foods / food all prepared ready to eat
Many foods already prepared (ready to eat for heat) can cause constipation, especially because they lack fiber and are filled with empty calories (unhealthy in general). But the fight against constipation, most experts recommend to get 1 gram of fiber every 100 calories consumed.

Eliminate white flour completely and replace it with whole grains is one of the most effective ways to get more regular bowel movements, in addition to eating more fruits and vegetables and avoid eating fast food . When you make these changes, you will do a great service to your colon (large intestine), not to mention a reduced risk of colon cancer.

Food constipating 3) Red meat
Eating too much red meat, which is rich in fat and lack of fiber increases the risk of constipation (especially when comparing regular eaters of red meat with vegetarian). Red meat, once in the intestine, slows digestion and considerably long time.

To fight against constipation, try to replace a portion of the amount of red meat you usually eat daily vegetable proteins (such as beans, lentils, brown rice, etc..) Or choose a grain-rich protein and fiber (like quinoa).

Food constipating No. 4) Iron
Iron supplements are known to cause constipation. If you do not suffer from iron deficiency, try to get iron by eating natural foods such as lentils, beans, pumpkin seeds, or eating cereal made with whole grains fortified with iron, instead take iron supplements.

You should know that most people do not need iron supplements unless they have reserves of iron too low, anemia with iron deficiency. Also be aware that eating too much iron can cause various health problems.

Food constipating No. 5) Processed foods made from wheat
Eating too much bread, pasta, biscuits, pastries, etc.. may cause constipation. Reducing consumption can help fight against constipation. By nature, wheat contains some very potent opioid peptides.

An opioid peptide is an amino acid chain, or a piece of protein that may act on the nervous system using, as the morphine or opium, including receptors for endorphins naturally synthesized by body. These peptides are in special proteins (gluten) and are released by enzyme digestion.

The opioid peptides content in foods made from wheat so can anesthetize the intestine in people who are sensitive (which is why some people less sensitive to opioid peptides may not be constipated when they eat these foods) that constipation occurs

Most of us can solve the problems of constipation by making appropriate food choices. Eat more fiber, drink more water and stay away from foods that cause constipation just to list.
